Core Project Chicago is a movement based interdisciplinary arts collective pushing the boundaries of storytelling. Our mission is to empower communities through arts performance and education. We are committed to collaborative exploration of the human journey through movement, music, video and text in live performance. By creating and curating artistic opportunities, CPC nurtures artistic opportunities for fellow artists and community members. Founded in December 2006 by Interdisciplinary artists Erin Rehberg and Matt Pierce, Core Project has experienced accelerated success in Chicago as leaders in multi-media performance. The Collective has produced 5 full-length multi-media Dance Events and performed in countless festivals including; Dance Chicago, Full-Circle Danztheater Festival, Estrofest, Manifest and Looptopia. Core Project Video work has been featured in, Around the Coyote, Fieldtrips Performance Festival, The 2009 SEA FilmFest and ArtXposium 2.0.
