TPI is a Puerto Rican Injection Molding company founded by a group of Puerto Rican engineers. The company manufactures high quality molded parts, at cost effective prices. TPI molds for clients in Puerto Rico, continental United States and Dominican Republic. Most of them are regulated industries. Located in Añasco, Puerto Rico; TPI was the brainchild of a group of local experts in the Medical Device Industry. Conceived in 1991, the company became operational in April 1992 after only five months of active support by FOMENTO. Since then, the company has increased its manufacturing capacity and its customer base by expanding from its main business of medical devices to products for the electronic industry. TPI has perfected the manufacturing processes to meet the requirements in the field of high precision molding. Presently the company operates three shifts five days a week. TPI exports products to clients in other countries, employs more than 200 people in the west area of Puerto Rico and molds over 200 different part numbers.
