The Spanish American Committee for a better community, Corp is a response by the Hispanic/Latino community of Cleveland to take ownership of the key issues impacting our community and to provide leadership in addressing those issues. There is currently a staff of 48 full-time and part-time employees of whom 100% are bilingual in English and in Spanish and over 80% are of Hispanic/Latino decent. Located at 4407 Lorain Avenue in Cleveland, OH the Spanish American Committee has been conveniently located in the Ward 14 area for over 42 years. The Spanish American Committee currently serves over 5500 clients a year of which 80% are of Hispanic/Latino decent. Other races include: 10% Black, 5% White, 5% Other The Spanish American Committees offers services, and education within 5 major core Program areas: Family Support Program Employment and Training Program Pre to Post Homeownership Early Childhood Enrichment Program Educational training
