The U.S. Army 1st Medical Recruiting Battalion manages the geographical recruiting operations of the Health Care Professionals for the U.S. Army and Army Reserves in the Northeastern United States. There are approximately 130 officers, NCOs and civilians assigned to our battalion. They work in many diverse areas such as Recruiting Operations, Training, Service and Support, Administration, Support and Logistics, Advertising, Public Affairs and above all Field Recruiters and Counselors. The U.S. Army 1st Medical Recruiting Battalion's headquarters is based at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland with four Health Care Recruiting Companies stationed throughout the northeast. We are a unique organization whose officers and NCOs work side by side as one team to achieve one goal and mission. Our field recruiters are the "Best of the Best".
