National Zakat Foundation Canada began in 2013 and has easily become a ground-breaking initiative that utilizes Zakat funds to support locally deserving recipients across Canada in charity. - Our Work - Through the years, we have distributed well over $5 million in Zakat services and Sadaqah. By providing financial assistance nationally, we have been able to help vulnerable Muslims including new converts, widows, orphans, refugees, the aged as well as the homeless.
