Greater Kansas City MGMA is a not-for-profit corporation comprised of Administrators, Medical Managers, Allied Health Professionals, and Business Partners from in and around the Kansas City, Missouri region. OUR GOAL: The goal of GKC MGMA is to provide networking and continuing educational opportunities for our members, which is in keeping with our mission and vision statements. AFFILIATION: GKC MGMA is a local chapter of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), a National MGMA Organization and their affiliate state organization, Missouri MGMA. These organizations provide additional educational opportunities for our medical managers and exhibit opportunities for our partners. Separate memberships are required for both the national organization and the Missouri or Kansas state chapters. COMMITTEES: Our committee structure shifts as the needs of our medical manager members change. Currently we have active committees to facilitate awarding of scholarships, to coordinate our educational conference, to investigate national and state government regulations, to schedule periodic webinars, to develop practicums on current healthcare interests, to schedule monthly meeting programs, to maintain and enhance our website, and to coordinate periodic networking events.
