CFNEM serves nine counties in northeast Michigan (Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Crawford, Iosco, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda and Presque Isle). We award grants to local nonprofit organizations for programs and projects that benefit the residents and visitors of our communities. We also award scholarships each year to local students. All our grants and scholarships are possible because of generous donors who care about the future of northeast Michigan. The mission of the Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan is to fulfill the charitable goals of our donors and address the current and future needs of our communities.
