At BC Council for Families we consider you our family. Why? Because today’s families are diverse. They consist of same-sex parents, single parents, couples, adoptive parents and grandparents. You see, however you wish to define family, at the Council we celebrate your family’s uniqueness. And because we want your family to keep flourishing and prospering, we’re dedicated to providing family education programs and resources that help yours grow stronger and even more resilient. Our Work To put it simply, we train family service professionals who in turn help strengthen and grow families. How do we do it? Well, we start by offering the latest and greatest training programs with the goal of prevention in mind. These trainings ensure professionals have the tools they need to provide a variety of family life education programs for families throughout the province.
