In 1961, John Lattimore Sr. founded Lattimore Materials Company, a concrete and aggregate production company located in the North Texas and Southeastern Oklahoma region. After taking the reins in 1986, his son, Victor Lattimore, oversaw the expansion of LMC to include operations in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, San Antonio, Houston, and Southern Oklahoma, with over 1,200 employees. In 2011, LMC was acquired by Holcim, Ltd. as a compliment to their cement facilities and other regional operations. Since 2011, LPI has been the vehicle for the continued pursuit of building value for the Lattimore family.
