All children have the right to an education and that can look different for different children. Outdoor learning is all about adventurous activities, environmental education, team challenges and learning through play. Research shows that outdoor learning sessions can not only have a positive impact on their academic achievement but can also improve their cognitive, social, emotional and physical health. Additionally, it can educate children on sustainable development and encourage them to become responsible citizens and appreciate nature. Outdoor learning not only has the positive impacts mentioned above but also allows children to become active on a regular basis. Research shows that only 43% of children and young people lead active lives. Physically active children and young people are proven to be happier, more resilient and more socially trusting. At Exoeco Education, we aim to take learning sessions to an environment that suits the needs of the individual child/group of children. At Exoeco Education, we are proud to be qualified, experienced teachers who are truly passionate about getting the best out of individual children. Tutoring sessions will be planned following free introductory discussions with parents/carers and children to ensure that the sessions delivered meet the needs (academically) and learning styles of the individual child. Initial discussions will currently be held online due to Covid-19. In light of the current lockdown, we are currently only offering one-to-one tutor sessions and would strongly encourage that these are outdoor or online learning sessions, to allow for a socially distanced and safe learning environment. All teachers hold a current, clear DBS check and all relevant qualifications and training. These documents can be provided upon request.
