The Indy Lab is an educational innovation company for early childhood development. We specialize in language development and literacy classes for kids ages 6 months thru age 5 focusing on how speech sound work and letter sound learning can improve a child’s overall articulation, early reading knowledge and communication. We use the Sounds in Motion program by Frances Santore embedded into play-based activities in a multi-sensory, evidence-based instruction using Orton-Gillingham principles. Children begin with our Socialization class as babies then move to our language development course called First Words and then attend our half day drop-in program called Homeroom which incorporates our play-based early literacy instruction called Playful Literacy, STEAM activities, core communication skills and sports. We believe thinking, communicating and moving are the three pillars for a child to thrive.
