Caritas Smile is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization based in the state of Rhode Island that was founded in 2010. Its mission is to inspire, educate and empower communities in need worldwide through volunteer work, teaching languages, art, and performing random acts of kindness in the US and in Latin America. Caritas Smile’s overseas volunteer travel program is called Take A Trip Change A Life where volunteers travel to Latin America and the Caribbean offering communities the practical tools needed to become self-sufficient and empowered through education, leadership, and beautifying their communities.
