Foundation for Positively Kids (PK) is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Las Vegas, Nevada. We provide a vast array of skilled medical services for children from birth to 18 who are born medically fragile or developmentally delayed. Our services include: school clinic nurses, skilled respite, home health, early intervention, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and medical daycare. PK employs Board-certified Pediatricians (MD's), Registered Nurses (RN's), Physicians Assistants (PA's), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN's), development specialists and nurse educators. A Board certified Neurologist was hired in May 2013 to provide behavioral screenings and autism evaluations/services. We also opened a 5-suite dental office at Child Haven to augment the medical clinic there. Our clinics take Medicaid, Nevada Check-Up, private insurance, and has a sliding fee scale for cash pay. In the Fall of 2013 we added 10 professional staff to assist families in enrolling their uninsured children in Medicaid and Nevada Check-up. The website is: www.positivelykids.org.
