Worldwide over 50 million children suffer from acute malnutrition and every year 3 million children under 5 years old die due to malnutrition. This is unacceptable. For this reason, for 40 years Action Against Hunger, an international humanitarian organization, is committed to defeat hunger in the world, with life-saving programs in 50 countries, helping concretely around 21 million people a year, even in emergency situations caused from conflicts, natural disasters and chronic food crises.
