Liverpool Science Park is home to a community of like-minded and ambitious innovators, developers and scientists, but we’re not just here to rent any space to anyone. As well as having a gateway policy in place to ensure each company who joins can add a little something special to our community, we work with our tenants to ensure they occupy the right space for them now and in the future. We create clusters of companies who complement one another, rather than compete. This means our community is built on people, with start-ups, blue-chips and everyone in between all working alongside each other and creating opportunities that lead to incredible things. What’s more, we don’t have shareholders, which means every penny we do make goes straight back into the Park as an investment into our facilities, providing the best environment possible for the whole community to thrive. This also means all those who occupy our space have the same access to high-quality facilities including our eight free-to-use meeting rooms, social and business event space, classes and preferential rates with local amenities and partner institutions, as well as the use of our prestigious Liverpool Science Park address. For over a decade, Liverpool Science Park has been home to many incredible companies. Our first innovation centre opened in 2005, and since then we have grown to three purpose-built centres offering modern, high-specification and free-to-use facilities to our companies just five minutes’ walk from Liverpool City Centre. As well as being just feet from the LJMU and UoL campuses, LSP is proud to be home to LJMU’s Astrophysics Research Institute and Telescope Team as well as the University of Liverpool’s Institute for Global Health and its containment level two labs. Aside from our central location, our progressive links with each institute are strengthening and our companies are reaping the benefits of access to their specialist equipment, library services and sports centres.
