Brand storytelling is brand marketing from a storyteller's lens. It covers everything from defining your story to telling it: brand strategy, visual branding, content strategy, and brand films & content campaigns. I began my career making brand films. But, for years, I kept running into the same issues. I finally realized that while my clients wanted to tell their story, they didn't have all the pieces yet. And if they did have all the pieces, they weren't sure how to put them together. The process of making their brand film forced them to figure it out. Those issues I kept running into seeded from this: a videographer is the wrong person to lead that discovery. I know them, I was this person. They lack the expertise in branding, positioning, marketing, sales, and behavioral economics to provide genuine value. They're often an artist hoping to be paid for their creativity. I could never truly help my clients from that position. They needed (and deserved) better tools and the proper insight. I had to become what my clients needed me to be. I developed my Storytelligent™ system to help my clients discover their unique value, their core identity, and give them a framework to strategically tell their story in a meaningful way that connects with their customers. My goal is to pull them out of a cycle of keeping up with the Jones's and craft an authentic brand that captures their audience's heart. And yes, often that still means making an emotionally-engaging brand film.
