Guru Teg Bahadar Khalsa Polytechnic College Chhapianwali Malout (GTBKPC) a unit of Guru Teg Bahadar Education Trust is affiliated to Punjab state Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training (PSBTE & IT) Chandigarh and approved by All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. In the 56th All India Sikh Conference held at Malout in 1988 it was decided that professional education institutes be setup to provide the opportunities for the growth and development of youth of Malwa region particularly and for youth of the country in general Consequently Guru Teg Bahadar Education Trust was formed in 1988 under the benign patronage of Late Mahant Tirath Singh ji Sewa Panthi. His patronage Mahant Kahan Singh ji is the guiding soul Head Sewa Panthi Goniana Mandi. Under this trust Guru Teg Bahadar Khalsa Polytechnic College was established in 1989 to cater to the needs of the state and country.
