Muntz & Associates is a boutique accounting firm that provides accounting, taxation and advisory services to its client base of individuals and privately-owned small and medium businesses. M&A specialise in providing tailored accounting, taxation and business advice to their clients across a range of areas, including: • Financial statement preparation; • Income tax, GST and FBT compliance including preparation of returns; • Taxation advice, including capital gains tax, negative gearing, ATO audits, payroll tax and tax planning; • Bookkeeping; • Accounting software implementation and support for most packages, including cloud accounting products such as MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks Online; and • Business advisory services, including benchmarking, budgeting and cashflow forecasting, business startup and purchase, structuring, succession planning, risk management and strategic planning; and • Business valuation services for a range of situations, including purchases and sales, estate and succession planning, litigation matters and income tax compliance reasons. The business operates out of premises in Albury and Canberra, and was established in 1995 by Adrian Dodd. Over the years the practice has grown significantly, and now employs ten staff. On 1 July 2018, Adrian began his transition to retirement, with long-term employee, Rachael Muntz, purchasing the business. On 1 March 2021, Rachael's husband, Ryan, a former partner of Findex, joined the practice along with three of his staff, and the firm was rebranded Muntz & Associates from that time onwards.
