In response to the growth of emerging markets in Latin America, SMPS was conceived as a full-service law firm specialized in providing services to national and multi-national corporations, financial institutions and public and private investors involved in cross-border projects and transactions, implementing of acquisitions, spin-offs, joint ventures, strategic alliances and other type of investments. For these reasons, our offices were strategically located in Calgary, Mexico City and Bogota. SMPS’ partners have over 20 years of experience, successfully advising national and foreign investors in their business activities in Latin America. Likewise, we have supported several Latin American clients in the public and private sectors with an interest in the development of corporate projects in Canada.
