Timucua is Central Florida’s home for innovative programming by leading composers and improvisers. MacArthur Fellows, Pulitzer and Grammy Winners, and legendary artists whose work defies categorization have all graced the Timucua stage. Concert programming at Timucua is comprised of distinct series: Classical, Jazz, Latin/Folk/World,Theater/Film/Poetry, and Community. Each series features a mix of world-renowned and local artists. One of the Timucua Arts Foundation’s most exciting and distinctive projects is its ensemble-in-residence, Alterity Chamber Orchestra, which performs demanding works by acclaimed living composers at the forefront of their field.
