Comhlámh is the Irish Association of Volunteers and Development Workers. We are an independent, non-profit membership organisation which advocates for a just and equitable world, working together with and drawing on the experience of development workers, volunteers and activists. Comhlámh‘s mission is to challenge our society on the root causes of global poverty and inequality and empower people to demand equity in global relations. We work to address the root causes of poverty, inequality and injustice through supporting and providing avenues of engagement for returned development workers and volunteers, through promoting good practice standards in volunteering, through campaigning against global injustice and through development education courses, publications and workshops.
