Academia Barista Pro (Barista Pro Academy) is a privately owned Barista School, founded by married couple Jonathan Rodríguez and Johanna de Rodríguez. Our main goal is to teach our students the best barista practices to be able to prepare excellent coffee drinks. We teach classes from Monday through Saturday, and dedicate all our free time to coffee. ABP has been open since 2010, but coffee has been part of us for much more. As of Last Year ABP has worked with over 100 companies from all over and has an aprox of 2000 students from different nationalities. We have trained people from: Japan, Taiwan, Costa Rica, Panama, Vienna, Spain, Chile, Peru, USA, Mexico, Czech Republic, Panama, Belice, Nicaragua, Honduras and of course, El Salvador. One of our passions since 2008 is training Baristas for Competition. We have been doing it for what seems to be a long time. Super proud that every year, students make it to the final round. These last 2 years we´ve picked some of our best students to participate in National Competitions as JUDGES. Four years ago we opened Barista Pro Roasters, where we provide students and clients with our specialty coffee, single origins, Gourmet Coffees ONLY. High quality beans grown 1500 masl and up, selected and classified by screens and much more. Every year we choose specialty coffees from around El Salvador from producers who have been awarded COE prizes. We carry only the best coffees in El Salvador, Our model is to never have roasted coffee in stock, always roast it fresh.
