MaryEllen “Meg” Giombetti is the founder of EMPOWERED BY MEG, a full service health and wellness company located in Framingham, MA. With 20 years of experience working in the health industry, Meg has spent the last 11 years helping people and companies lead healthier lives. Whether it’s coaching professional athletes and busy CEOs in the area of fitness and nutrition or developing employee wellness programs for companies and municipalities, Meg has been a leader in providing inclusive health solutions. Meg’s passion for health began as soon as she could lace up her own sneakers and run (just about the same time she was diagnosed with a brain tumor at age 5). Since then, she’s participated in almost every sport she could and learned how to create enough healthy and great tasting recipes she could probably fill a library. Meg believes that we are lucky to wake up every day and it is our duty to take care of our bodies and minds and “get busy living”. That duty called to Meg back in 2009 when she decided to leave her corporate job to launch EMPOWERED BY MEG. When she’s not helping clients crush their goals and helping companies build the healthiest workforce ever Meg is most likely working behind the scenes of EMPOWERED to also serve as CEO, Chief Marketing Officer, and IT help desk. On a rare day off though you can catch Meg at home or outdoors with her husband Dan and their three dogs Belle, Graham and Pearl.
