The New York State Public Health Association (NYSPHA) is a statewide professional organization actively serving New Yorkers, our members, and the public health profession through our efforts and activities. Our Mission: Healthy people in healthy communities NYSPHA works to improve community health through education, prevention and advocacy. We advance "best" practices in public health, and assist our members in promoting and protecting environmental and community health. Through our six regional affiliates, we strive to prevent disease, injury and disability at the community level.
