The Work Place provides comprehensive employment and career services that are easy to access, customer-driven, and linked to the latest technology. We help individuals to find current job openings, assess their skill levels and interests, and enter education and training programs. In addition to a friendly and professional environment in which to work, we offer a wealth of resources, including computer skills workshops, employment workshops, and access to state-of-the-art research tools and the Internet. The Work Place is funded in-part through the Department of Workforce Development, allowing us to offer many of our basic services at no cost. The Work Place provides area businesses a convenient one-stop source for skilled workers and training options. Account representative work closely with employers to locate qualified job applicants, upgrade the skills of their existing workers, navigate training and economic development programs, and provide up-to-date, online labor market information. Employers can also benefit from the many free services at The Career Place including posting current job openings and using conference rooms for on-site recruiting.
