Uchida Agency Limited was established in Lagos Nigeria in 2010 as a marketing consulting company to cooperate with a subsidiary of Honda Motor Co., Limited, where so many counterfeit generators have been imported by local traders, and the client had woken up to tackle the issue to recover their market share. A two years operation with their national staff had brought a clear picture to increase sales of the products; therefore, it was handed over to their headquarters. Shinji Uchida who is managing director of the company moved to East Africa in 2013 as a marketing manager of Honda Motors Southern Africa (PTY) Limited. In this time, he assisted its management which was preparing to start a first local assembling of Honda motorcycles in East Africa. At the same time, their missions were marketing both automobiles and power products like generators and water pumps. He had been studied business administration and marketing at the University of Loughborough for six months before establishing Uchida Agency Limited in Nairobi Kenya. Our main aim is to bridge factories and markets in Africa where its population are increasingly expanding, and there are demands for high-quality products. We would like to challenge to import sports-related products to further study of the latest market where mobile banking has been changing both finance and logistics. On top of that, we would like to contribute to the societies by working with farmers and or fishers to export agricultural / aqua cultural products from Africa.
