John and Rosemary Koehler purchased a Bridgeport machine after discussions with John’s brother Urbie. With John and Rosemary as the initial stakeholders, K. K. Tool is still family run with Kevin Koehler as the current president. Kevin Koehler was the first employee of K. K. Tool in 1972. John Koehler continued to work for his brother Urbie until 1978 when he finally moved to K. K. Tool. All of John & Rosemary’s children, Paula, Keith, Kurt, Kyle, Kara, & Kris, have been involved with the company. They are working to carry on the vision of hard work and re-investment to make K. K. Tool a successful family-oriented business.
