Agnel robotics club was founded in 2015 with the objective of encouraging the field of robotics in Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues Institute of Technology. It promotes multi disciplinary approach to robotics by bringing students from Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology Engineering under one roof. As of 2017 it has membership of more than 300 students and counting . The day to day functioning of the club is managed by students who are elected annually under the guidance of the Principal. The club provides tools, software and related facilities to the members. It also has a full fledged Research and Development department to develop new solutions, project and explore ideas in the field of Robotics. The members of the club participate in various Robotics competitions like ABU ROBOCON, IITB Techfest, BAJA, etc.
