IFMA is the premium industry body representing the interest of the fan industry with a strong legacy of 70 years of togetherness in the fan industry. It was founded by the top leading fan manufacturers of India and today it serves as a platform for interface for both Government and Industry that plays a pivotal role in the development of the fan industry. In the year gone by, IFMA has spread its wings by opening up the membership to the vendors and small manufacturers of Fans and fan components. The membership of IFMA has thus risen five folds in past one year thereby adding to the strength of understanding the issues and voice to serve the industry and customers better. India is a tropical country and Fan being an essential stand-alone appliance to provide cooling comfort to ordinary man, the role and growth of Fan Industry in coming decades can be well appreciated The Ceiling Fans are soon to come under the mandatory regime of Star Rating and here is where the support of IFMA and its members to drive the program will become paramount and hugely important.
