In 2012, Professor Ibrahim Odeh, MBA, PhD of Columbia University’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science launched the Global Leaders in Construction Management (GLCM) initiative. The GLCM focuses on bridging between theory and practice by generating market studies on trends that are reshaping the AEC industry. The initiative selects a number of graduate students (GLCM Fellows) by nomination from the Department of Civil Engineering to conduct and develop the GLCM studies.
