Started with the enactment of Law No. 30 of 2009 on Electricity, requires that "Every operating installation of electric power must have Operating Eligibility Certificate issued by accredited Technical Inspection Institution". Along with this enactment of law and some other regulations, the business field in electricity certification was emerged, in this case is the Technical Inspection Institution (LIT) which guided by rules and regulations regarding Electricity. PT. Andalan Mutu Energi was established in Bandung city on February 6, 2009, stands as the service company for inspection and certification on electrification that has scope in 4 service sector and 12 service sub-sector in accordance with the designation of the Directorate General of Electrification.
