ZRS Architekten Ingenieure was founded in 2003 as an integrated planning office in Berlin. Under one roof, we ZRS with the companies ZRS Architekten GvAmbH and ZRS ZRS Ingenieure GmbH combine a broad spectrum of architecture, structural design, building certification, energy consulting, expert opinions, building material development and testing as well as scientific work in research and teaching. As a polluter of more than 60% of global CO2 emissions and the largest consumer of non-renewable energy, the construction industry bears direct responsibility for the dramatic state of our planet and the negative change in the climate. As planners, we see it as our responsibility to minimise dependence and use of fossil resources. In this context, our core competences are the examination of the historical and at the same time modern natural building materials clay, natural stone, wood and bamboo. With ambitious clients and partners, we strive for the extensive and innovative use of local and renewable resources.
