www.lccauk.comLondon Chinatown Chinese Association (LCCA) was founded in 1978, aims to develop Chinatown business, and represent the British Chinese to negotiate with the government. In 1979, LCCA has set up the London Chinese Community Centre to provide different types of service for the Chinese. “Living in the United Kingdom, Heart is connected to Chinaâ€. Businesses wanting a voice to put across their concerns joined the association and relied on the collobative efforts of the LCCA to make the whole of Chinatown more prosperous. From aiding the local Chinese community in moments of need, LCCA spread it's community effort and responded to disaster relief activities in China. Over the years, LCCA has raised funds for China's Distaster struck areas, including the Daxinganling fire in 1987, East China floods in 1991, widespread floods in the Yangtze River in 1998, etc. We also donate money to the construction of schools and hospitals in mainland China. The LCCA has held the Mid-Autumn Festival and Chinese New Year celebrations yearly in Chinatown, not only to attract people throughout Britain but even from Europe and visitors from around the world. The event attracts hundreds of thousands of people and has now become indispensable. The annual Chinese New Year celebrations is one of the Capital's biggest events and the largest celebration outside of Asia.
