Through effective advocacy the cycles of abuse, violence, and crime are being broken one child at a time, and children’s futures are being rewritten. We help children from birth to 18+ years old. We enter the child’s life to support their well-being, impart learning and cultivate comfort through normalcy initiatives such as fulfilling their basic needs of food, clothing and rental help to registering for ballet classes, paying fees and buying uniforms for team activities, arranging tuition and books for a semester of state college, art and school supplies, and arranging for mental and emotional counseling by professionals. Targeted Initiatives: #1 Office of the Guardian ad Litem, supported since 2008! Speak Up For Kids Ensures 100% advocacy for kids in foster care through the funding of positions and the recruitment, training and retention of court-appointed volunteer child advocates. These volunteers are committed solely to each child’s emotional, educational, and physical well-being throughout dependency court proceedings #2 STUDENTS Speak Up For Kids, launched in 2020. STUDENTS Speak Up For Kids empowers students with opportunities to serve and speak up for children in the dependency court system. #3 Therapeutic Court, established in 2014. An award-winning pilot, the first of its kind in the US, to serve the most complex cases in our county through a round-table team approach. #4 Early Childhood Court supported since 2017. “ECC” targets the best interests of infant and toddler child victims and their families working toward safe, permanent placement faster. #5 Foster Palm Beach in 2018, we extended our impact efforts creating Foster Palm Beach to recruit more foster families locally. #6 Growing Grads in 2021 we launched Growing Grads: 1) 'Graduation Celebration (2) 'Gifts for Grads', swag bags filled with community contributions (3) Celebrating YOUth Scholarship.
