1. December 1985 – Budget Lighting, Inc opens as a lighting distributor. The goal was to bring commercial and industrial lighting products to market at budget prices. We provided a cost effective solution for your long-life lighting needs. 2. Expansion – Our initial sales territory was the western suburbs of Minneapolis. Over the next decade our business grew with the addition of lighting fixtures and accessories. 3. Locations – BLI celebrates some of the most experienced and well trained field sales representatives in the business. We have local representation throughout Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and northern Illinois. 4. Lighting Maintenance – In 2001, BLI opened our lighting maintenance division. Today, our fleet of bucket trucks and service vehicles blanket the upper Midwest. Our electricians and service technicians are highly trained professionals and specialize in lighting and sign repair.
