Ceres Holographics is enabling next-generation transparent AR displays through an innovative approach to holographic optical elements (HOEs). Our unique production technology provides a new level of efficiency and performance for laser-enabled HUDs and other applications across the transportation industry. At the heart of our solution is a digitally-controlled mastering and replication technology that has been in development for more than ten years. Now available as a commercial offering, it produces high quality, precision-engineered holograms faster and in a repeatable, scalable, cost-effective way not possible with previous generation analog methods. Our initial business focus is on the automotive sector to deliver HUD and other transparent display systems, improving passenger safety and comfort. Conventional optics make HUDs too bulky and expensive. Ceres’ HOEs solve this problem and, when integrated in the windshield, deliver the optical power, field of view, and quality in a smaller footprint to fit a wider range of vehicles at a lower cost. Ceres Holographics enables a new class of transparent display systems for front, side and rear windows. We have strategic partnerships with key suppliers throughout the automotive supply chain, and are engagements with automakers and tier one automotive suppliers around the world.
