Why the name Followers Church? Originally, Christians were first referred to as, “followers of the way.” This alluded to a way of living that Jesus and His followers had become known for, a way of living that actually helped people learn about God, or find Him, while demonstrating how to follow Him. That’s what we want to be known for at Followers Church. Over everything else, we want to be known as followers of Jesus by the way we live our lives, and in doing so, to help others find and follow Jesus.
