Who We Are AAPCP’s membership is professionally diverse with members leading, advising, and managing provider compensation for health care organizations, including medical groups, hospitals and health systems, health plans and health maintenance organizations, health insurers, life sciences, managed care companies, nursing facilities, home care providers, and other health care entities, including those working on behalf of clients in private organizations. What We Do Provider Compensation encompasses Professionals engaged in the Administrative, Alignment, Regulatory, and Strategy processes for organizations managing financial relationships with providers. Our Professionals support: • Administrative processes by ensuring provider contracting, management, planning, recruitment, retention, and valuation are streamlined and efficient; • Alignment by seeking to ensure providers and organizations are structurally and financially positioned to achieve mutual goals; • Regulatory aspects by maintaining compliance with applicable Federal and State laws applicable to financial relationships with providers; and • Strategy by seeking to ensure providers and organizations are supported in an ever-changing health care delivery system focused on value-based care.
