Scholze Family Farms
www.scholzefamilyfarms.comIn 1949, Louis and Elizabeth Scholze began farming just east of the small town of Humbird, Wisconsin, with about 40 dairy cows. In 1979, their son Marvin and his wife Minnie took over the small operation and formed M&M Dairy. During their 30 years operating the farm, they increased the herd to about 320 cows. In the early 1990s, they made the move from a tie-stall barn to a freestall barn, and built a double-10 herringbone parlor. M&M Dairy was one of the first farms in the United States to utilize a parlor with a piping system located beneath the parlor. Marvin and Minnie's two sons, Theo and Will returned to the farm with their families in 2011 and began operating as Scholze Family Farms in 2014. Today we milk about 500 cows and farm about 1700 acres.
