ChangeMaker is a local Bangladeshi humanitarian organization fighting poverty and marginalization. We place special focus on working alongside poor families because, equipped with the proper knowledge, information and resources, families have the power to help other families and entire communities escape poverty. ChangeMaker's community-based efforts include, improve access to knowledge and information, increase access to and availability of appropriate technologies that reduces the vulnerabilities and increase income generation, expand economic opportunity, develop coping strategies to face the challenges and risks of climate change, protect natural resources, popularize renewable energy, energy efficiency and reduction of emission, improve conditions of peace and security, develop culture of tolerance, improve access to social safety nets, and improve institutional efficiency of service providers. We also deliver emergency aid to survivors of natural disasters and armed violence, and help people rebuild their lives… We work with local organizations in some of the poorest areas of country, to ensure; • Develop skills to advance the local entrepreneurs and enterprises and linking them with expanding markets and value chains • Popularize appropriate and sustainable renewable energy • Fight for freedom & human rights • Ensure community based peace, security and mediation • Implement Green Environmental Values/Technologies/Developments
