Heliozid Océ was established in 1967 as a joint venture between the leading IT solutions company Océ N.V. of Netherlands and Heliozid of Lebanon. Since 2010 Océ N.V has become a Canon group company, thus combining the strengths of both companies to be able to extend customer centric solutions to printing professionals worldwide. As a result of the merger, in 2013 Heliozid has signed a distribution contract with Canon, thus allowing the Heliozid group of companies to distribute and service a number of Canon professional and large format printers.
