The Mission of the Medical Oncology Association of Southern California is to ensure access to quality and affordable care for cancer patients within their communities. Since 1990, MOASC has represented more than 400 oncologists in California and neighboring states. Our association has succeeded in providing value to membership through the creation of the MOASC Purchasing Network (MPN), a GPO for purchasing of drugs and medical office supplies; and the MOASC Contracting Network (MCN) created to represent California medical oncologists in developing new contracting and financial relationships with Payors, promote clinical integration, and enhance the quality, and cost effectiveness, of the medical care provided to cancer patients. MOASC is the source of valuable information for their members through their weekly newsletter the California Oncology Weekly, monthly webinars, meetings, certification courses, and practice management consulting. MOASC strives to continue to succeed in ensuring the continued practice of community oncology care, thereby insuring greater access to oncology treatments for the cancer patient. For more information, please contact the MOASC Office at 1-800-310-3553.
