By connecting skilled researchers to each other and to the data and resources they need, AISLES seeks to improve the American electoral process through the production and dissemination of quality scientific research to inform evidence-based policies and administrative best practices for Election Administration. AISLES is a nonprofit corporation organized under Section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, Title 13 of the State of Alabama Code of 1975, and the Alabama Non-Profit Corporation Act. Advocacy by AISLES is limited to the dissemination of scientific research to policy makers and the general public. AISLES does not engage in lobbying, campaigning, protests, nor any form of partisan political activity. Our only political position is our commitment to promoting evidence-based policies; which rely upon quality, non-partisan scientific research; that help to maximize political participation. Though we are happy to receive information from and share information with anyone, AISLES will make no formal alliance with nor endorse any political actor, party, or entity.
