Mission and Vision Our mission is to educate, plan, coordinate, and advocate for a comprehensive service delivery system for the survivors of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their families. Our vision is to prevent TBI and promote wellness for all Alaskans experiencing brain injuries. What We Do ABIN’s service to those experiencing TBI is multifaceted. ·Provides on-line and printed directory of statewide resources ·Responds to requests for assistance, information, resources, and referrals ·Provides technical assistance to those wanting to develop brain injury support groups ·Advocates for safety legislation, in-state brain injury rehabilitation, and increased funding for TBI services ·Brings TBI professional training to Alaska
