WBDM is a public agency that provides support to design and fashion companies and designers in Wallonia and Brussels for their international development. The areas covered include fashion, product design, furniture design, textile design, environmental design, communication design, social design and food design. We mainly target companies and designers with a flair for entrepreneurship, whose ambition is to widen the scope of their activities abroad and support them with our expertise. EXPORT - ADVISE – PROMOTE - SUPPORT Our agency is a joint initiative of Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI), the Wallonia Foreign Trade and Investment Agency (AWEX) and the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (Visuals Arts service). WBDM is also member of BEDA (Bureau of European Design Association - http://beda.org/). Depending on the event, we’re used to collaborate with our close partners : Flanders DC (for designers and fashion designers based in Flanders), and MAD (the Centre for fashion and design of Brussels). Together we set up « Belgium is Design » and « Ik koop Belgisch/j’achète Belge ».
