BiosNike offers designing in every phase, preliminary, definitive and executive, of: * anaerobic digestion plants for the production of energy from biogas and/or biomethane with the following input material: waste from agro-industry and farming, municipal solid waste (e.g. the Organic Fraction of Municipal Solid Waste, OFMSW), dewatered sludge from wastewater treatment plants, etc.; * composting plants for the treatment of organic waste (e.g. OFMSW, sludge, pruning residues) with the production of soil amendants; * industrial and civil wastewater treatment plants, with biological, chemical, and physical processes; * plants for the valorization of dry fractions (plastics and polymeric films, ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, paper and cardboard, glass); * incineration plants for energy recovery from residual waste; * integrated waste management plans. Parallel to the designing activities, BiosNike takes care of all procedures and compliance topics related to the authorization of the above-mentioned plants, such as: Assessments of Implications (as of the “Habitat” Directive 92/43/EEC, and “Birds” Directive 2009/147/EC), Environmental Impact Assessments (as of Directives 2011/92/EU and 2014/52/EU), Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (as of the “IPPC” Directives 1996/61/EU and 2010/75/EU), compliance to the national regulation on renewable energy producers, national constraints, etc. BiosNike is also active in industrial Research & Development related to both knowledge and technology development in the fields of waste treatment, chemical/biological processes, and process automation & control.
