South East Powerline Services (SEPS) is a family run business dedicated in providing plant and equipment to a specialist market. Established in 1997, the company was historically formed to provide specialist Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) to Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and their clients to assist in works adjacent to overhead powerlines. As a long time user of MEWPs, Managing Director Malcolm Reed had a vision of using his expertise and knowledge of these machines to provide bespoke machines to the industry. With the assistance of fellow director Tracey Reed they set about obtaining and designing MEWPs which could be offered to clients for hire. In 2007, Michael Chapman joined SEPS as a service engineer and expert on working on Mobile Elevated Work Platforms. Using his knowledge and expertise, SEPS was able to become a self-proficient company able to carry out thorough examinations as required by LOLER and carry out rigorous service and maintenance to our machines. Since the initial vision, SEPS has become an industry leader in the provision of insulated off road vehicles and now boast a fleet which includes the highest reaching insulated hoists in the country, with our services being requested throughout the United Kingdom.
