Established in early 2007 in Beijing, with the intent of Connecting The World With Languages, ExtraTrans operates out of the commercial heartland of the capital city's most dynamic area, the Central Business District. A number of our prestigious clients, many of them industry leaders, are within easy walking distance of our offices. Our Chinese name, Ya Gao, is a reference to the exceptionally high and lofty standards laid down by Yan Fu (1854-1921), a pioneering translator in early modern China: Xin (Faithfulness), Da (Expressiveness) and Ya (Elegance). All our translators have at least five years of full-time translating experience and a wealth of bilingual or multilingual expertise. They are amongst the most professional, reliable and kn owledgeable language specialists in the sector, each having particular prowess in a specific field. Wherever possible, we assign translators to projects for whom the target language is their native tongue, enabling us to produce high -quality translations, copy-editing, proofreading, and audio/video transcriptions that will be as accurate, relevant, and timely as you could possibly expect.
