Duryea designs and manufactures brushless DC motors, power electronics, rotary engines, and other BLDC-motor based products for aerospace, defense, automotive, and machinery OEMs.  The Duryea BLDC motor has a unique, winding-free architecture to minimize resistance and maximize performance at low battery voltages. Common applications are those requiring the lightest motor with a compact footprint for the greatest battery range; these include e-mobility, UAVs, and robotics. Duryea is also a leading producer of built-to-spec electric superchargers for automotive OEMs.  High-voltage Duryea BLDC motors are typically packaged with off-the shelf VFDs and utilized in process equipment such as pumps, blowers, and spindle drives. The switch to a less common BLDC motor allows for significant long-term electricity savings, superior performance, and durability for demanding 24/7 operation. A standard product line is also available for end-users. Flagship offerings include 12, 24, or 28VDC no-idle air vehicle conditioning for fleets, hydraulic power units, buck/boost regulators, and biogas cogeneration systems for municipalities. Duryea also has plans to expand its standard selection with a 12VDC electric supercharger for motorsports/powersports and 12-28VDC BLDC drone motors within the next two years.
