S. Tetteh and Associates is an innovative architectural practice founded in 1995 by principal Senyo A. Tetteh. Based in Accra, it employs an intensive and intellectually rigorous design process aimed at providing sustainable, timeless and advanced design. The result is environmentally and economically responsible design, the use of advanced building technology and design tools and exploration of a modern Ghanaian aesthetic. The firm has been involved in a wide range of services including residential, civic and commercial design, design of architectural signage and graphics, workplace consultancy and renovation, landscape design and affordable housing design. Notable works include the Advantage Place (12-storey office complex for Enterprise Properties Ltd), Visitor’s Centre for the Kakum National Park, the Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Football Academy (now the West African Football Academy) and the renovation of the Headquarters of the Ghana Revenue Authority. The firm’s clients have included The Forestry Commission of Ghana, Enterprise Properties Ltd, Ghana Revenue Authority and the Midwest Universities Consortium for International Activities (MUCIA). S. Tetteh and Associates’ work has been recognised with first-place awards in local and international design competitions including the New Ghana School of Law Campus Design Competition, the Ghana Judicial Training Institute Design Competition, South Legon Apartment Complex Design and Shelter Afrique’s 5000 for 5000 Affordable Housing Competition.
